Learning Tree Preschool Associate Teacher

The Tri-Cities Family YMCA is seeking qualified candidates for an Associate Teacher position:

  • Works cooperatively with the lead teacher in all areas of planning and assessment.
  • Provides the lead teacher support and assistance in development and execution of lesson plans and curriculum.
  • Assists lead teacher in leading age appropriate activities.

  • Qualified applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or child-related field (with 18 semester hours in early childhood or child development).
  • Applicants should have the ability to oversee and execute planning, development, and implementation of classroom activities as well as have a commitment to developing the full potential of the children served.
  • Familiarity with the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold is preferred.

Lifeguards & Swim Instructors

We are currently looking to hire part-time lifeguards and swim instructors.

  • Lifeguard certification is required. Swim instructors must be CPR/First Aid certified and show proof prior to hire.
  • Looking for instructors who have swim experience and enjoy working with children.
  • For lifeguarding, there are morning, afternoon, and evening shift options: 5:15 am - 9:00 am, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, and 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

Gymnastics Team Coach

The Tri-Cities Family YMCA is hiring in our growing gymnastics department!

  • Experience with kids and gymnastics is a must!
  • We are looking for individuals with past/current gymnastics, tumbling, cheerleading or dance experience.
  • Must be available to work evenings year-round with weekend availability during meet season (October-March).
