YMCA fitness coaches will introduce you to our equipment, and are also available to work with you to develop a Personalized Fitness Program and provide you with ongoing support through personal training.
Cardio Vascular Equipment
We have a variety of cardiovascular machines including treadmills, elliptical cross-trainers, arc trainers, steppers, Nu-Step machines, upright and recumbent stationary bicycles.
Strength Training Equipment
Our collection of CYBEX equipment is designed to help you condition your upper and lower body. They are exceptionally easy to use and can be adjusted to fit your needs. We also have a variety of free weight benches and equipment including: Smith machine, power rack, chest press, incline chest press bench, decline bench, flat bench, cable crossover, lat pull down, leg press, and dumbbells in various weights. In addition, our weight room features an indoor running track as well as other training equipment such as TRX, kettle bells, medicine balls, foam rollers, etc.
Every member is given the opportunity to go through a FREE, one-time orientation. Equipment orientations will help you learn the proper form and technique for the weight equipment and how to use that elliptical, bike or treadmill that you are unsure of. Orientations last approximately 45 minutes. Appointment times and availability vary, please sign-up at the Welcome Center.
